Color Theory and Techniques – 2013 Fall Quarter
Module 03 Written Assignment – Color Wheel
The color wheel has been a universal color standard for hundreds of years. Newton’s 12-step color wheel presented the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors in a circular format. The time has come to give this color wheel a more modern update. For example, instead of having a “circle of circles” for a color wheel, try coloring in the keys of a piano instead. While your image is unique, the relationship from one color to the next is still the same.
